A passionate gardener, Amanda has created a garden as part of her artistic process. The garden lies in a sheltered valley setting with the tiny Penberth River running through. There is also a large pond, an orchard and a meadow that has gradually become open woodland. Having a taste for gardening on the wild side this exhuberant garden flows seamlessly into the surrounding woodlands and provides much of the inspiration for the artist's work. Amanda's passion for form and colour is expressed through the flowers she portrays, using hand-dyed silks, satins and velvets.
