Camellia and Bamboo with Songbirds

The camellia 'Bob Hope' is a favourite among the red flowers of spring in my garden. Its golden stamens and black-red colour are irresistible. Bamboo provides a companion for many of my camellias with its shimmering light and sound contrasting with the bold dark foliage of the shrubs. Songbirds find the camellias' foliage the perfect shelter, and Blue Tits reach into the centre of the flowers to drink the nectar. All this creates a theater of spring life.
