Red and Gold is such a seductive colour combination that I cannot resist it, particularly when it includes the vibrant reds of ephemeral poppy flowers. There is such delight in walking through a field where these flowers grow, something I look forward to each year. Light and shadow move through the textile collage just as they do through a field of swaying barley and poppies.
