Treen is a glorious hamlet near the coast and open to the gales. The hedge-tops are shaped by the weather and flowers know to keep their heads down. Walking through a lane leading to the hamlet, I looked up and saw the wildflowers in full bloom, tossing in the wind, with a back-drop of mackerel sky.
