I love shadows across meadows, bringing bold tonal variations to stripe across the landscape. By using light reflective fabrics and changing their angle of weave I can exploit the potential for light and shade in each fabric. Some parts of the textile collage will move forward and other retreat into the shadows. This creates a strong feeling of depth within the artwork.
