Whistling Jacks with Buttercups

Gladiolus communis subsp. byzantinus known locally as Whistling Jacks are growing in meadows further down the valley. They will have been planted as a crop for the cut flower trade but are now just a delight for those walking past. They are the subject of my new collage with their companion buttercups; a lively colour combination.
