Rooks among Celandines

I have always found rooks engaging and beautiful birds and am lucky to have a rookery nearby. This combination of standing stone hedge, woodland, celandines and rooks is very particular to the far west of Cornwall. In many valleys woodland is overtaking the small granite hedged fields.
