Red roses in the depths of winter are such a luxury. They were growing on the side of the studio and I could not resist bringing them in, to breath deeply of their rich scent and work from them for this still life collage. I arranged them in a blue glass vase with Viburnum Bodnantense Dawn. Placed in a south facing window, the shadows flowed out across the wall in grey and blue.
