I have a life long love of granite from the golden sand on the shore to sculptural mountains. The west of Cornwall has beaches where rippling granite bedrock flows down to the ocean. There are round pools reflecting the sky and egg-like boulders. I pattern and dye silk to describe these forms in all their subtle colours.
